Each home game I have the great pleasure of writing a blog for the Sheffield Sharks game night programme. Obviously I like to welcome the visiting teams and their supporters but basically I am allowed by the club to write anything I want to write.
Fortunately, nothing has as yet stopped the blog from being printed, although it would be interesting to see what would happen if I was particularly controversial.

Welcome to the EISS for this BBL Cup Quarter Final against the Everton Tigers. The BBL Cup is the first of the trophies to be decided and tonight will complete the line-up for the two legged Semi Finals.

Tonight, the Sheffield Sharks will play the Newcastle Eagles in their first encounter of the 9/10 BBL season and we will be in for one of the most bitterly contested games of the season.
