PEOPLE WHO MAKE BRITISH BASKETBALL THE JOY THAT IT IS

In this feature I am trying to pay tribute to the people around British Basketball who help to make us what we are.

Rob Paternostro is a former player in the BBL who has made the transition to Head Coach without missing a beat. Last season, Leicester Riders, under his stewardship, was the most improved team in the BBL and he took them to the Championship Weekend in style. Rob remains one of the most popular coaches in the BBL.

In this extension to the above feature, we are now going to pay tribute to some British Basketball legends who helped us get to where we are.

Betty Codona is one of the most successful coaches across any sport in the UK. She grew the Sheffield Hatters into one of the most successful teams in British Sport before handing over the reins. Betty had held almost every position in British Basketball including Chairman of England Basketball.
